Re: minor suggestion
Yes, the clipboard message is my fault. I added code several months ago to copy the posting box to the clipboard in case something goes wrong after hitting the Submit button, such as losing your Internet connection, server going down, etc. People were complaining about losing posts - always the most brilliant post ever. With this function, you can re-open the posting window and use the Edit/Paste functionof your browser to paste your post in the window. Only if you haven't already copied something else to your clipboard.
The reason for the popup is your Internet Explorer options. Click on the Tools button at the top of the browser and choose the Security tab. Then select Custom Level. Scroll down to Scripting. One of the options under Scripting is Allow Pasting Operation Via Script. I reckon yours is set to Prompt. You can Enable or Disable it. If you do the former, you won't see the prompt, but you do open yourself up to potential security problems from dishonest sites, though I can't think of anything really serious that they can do (That doesn't mean there aren't any, just that I haven't thought of them) If you disable, you won't see the prompt, but you also won't have the benefit of being able to paste the text back in if you lose it. I keep mine set on Prompt, as I see that as the best of both worlds - I can say No on a site I don't trust and I can say Yes on this site. It's just one click. If you ever lose a brilliant post and are able to restore, then you may consider the minor hassle of aswering the prompt to be well worth it.
Of course, you can disable and be careful to do your own copy before pressing the Submit button. That would work too, but is more trouble than simply ansering the prompt.
