This story both disgusts me and saddens me, it disgust me because I will never understand how a person can eat that much to weigh as much as 1200 pounds, It saddens me because I also don't understand what a person must be going through to allow their life to be controlled by food.
I understand the mind of a drug addict and an alcoholic, and I am sure that a food addict isn't that different, but for the life of me I just can't grasp it.

I can kind of understand. There might be a point in someone's life where the only good feelings they get are from good tasting food. I mean, most of our favorite holidays are built around food - Thanksgiving, Christmas dinner, Halloween. With the idea that food is something food and rewarding, is it any wonder there are folks out there who seek the pleasures of good as much as they do?
