If you have kids, do you ever look at them and wonder how they grew up so fast? I was getting my oldest ready for school this morning and he said something about wanting to wear an Ohio State shirt tomorrow for school. I guess they are going to root Ohio State on. I just looked at him thinking you are only seven and already interested in football.
I mean both my boys are growing up so fast and I just want it to stop. I know that is impossible but it just seems like yesterday I was bringing them home from the hospital. I guess I am in a weird mood today.

Haha well no kids here but I have 2 step-nieces, 1 step-nephew and 3 nephews. And even from the outside looking in, they have REALLY grown up so quickly. It amuses me to hear them reminisce about things I had long forgotten about.
Like years ago I let me nephews watch a movie I had. They like anime and such so it kept them happy when their own Power Rangers movies were watched through. They might have been 6 and 5 or so.
Now the oldest, who is 9, has constantly asked about that movie since and constantly wants to watch it. I got rid of the tape years ago and have yet to replace it with a DVD version but he definetly remembers it! :D

I agree with you. My daughter is 9, and she is growing up way to fast for me and her dad. I can't stand it but what else can I let her do?

She doesn't want to grow up, either. She likes being a baby, and who can blame her?

I'm 25 and I would still really enjoy being the baby!

Yes, they do grow up fast. I still remember the day I brought home my 14 year old. It seems just like yesterday. In 3 more years he will be off to college. Thank goodness I have younger children that have about 10 more years till college.

Yeah, it is funny how quickly everyone grows up. At times I wish I were still a kid. Maybe I wouldn't have made as many mistakes. Oh well we all learn from them.

My oldest just turned 18. That is so hard to believe. The thought of her moving out on her own si a little scary. I will miss her so much. Luckily, we are very close so, I don't think she will ever move to far away. Her sisters are not too far behind her though. So, in a few years, I fear I will be alone, just my dog and me. :(

I was just thinking about this today. It's hard to believe that at this time last year I was getting so antsy to just deliver my lil boy and now he's nearly walking, he's eating real foods, and trying to talk up a storm. In the blink of an eye a whole year has passed...
