Currently on Livewire rescuer in Cameron - there is no "Animal Rescue" in Cameron! They work under Calcasieu - he won't find any help there!

I spent 2 days in Cameron Parish and I liked them. I got the sense they are strong, independent and tough survivors. I am hoping that most of them took their animals w/ them.

I know they were working hard on rescuing the cattle and I think the military was assisting.

I bet you are listening to the interview w/ our Sammy and Tim. I met them in Lake Charles Civic Center parking lot. Those were the 2 nice NOLA rescuers that I traveled w/ to NOLA.

I spent 2 days w/ some Cameron Parish officials at their temporary Parish Gov't HQ right after Rita. I never got their full names or titles or contact info. Actually we were never properly introduced due to the emergency situation. I had told them I would be there the 3rd day but I ended up going to NOLA for animal rescue.

I want to tell them why I did not return and what I was doing.

I gave some donations: tools, boots, chainsaw, etc to Debbie. Her husband was in charge of tehe roads in Cameron Parish. And I also breiely met a Tina. I may have the 2 names flipped around.

Tina, had a brother-in-law named Keith who used to live in Cameron. He is a master licensed electrician living in Dallas now. I spoke w/ him since I am an electrician too.

How can I find out who they were & contact info. I should probably try again to reach a website for Cameron Parish but I did not see them listed.

I met a few good Cameron citizens too.
