What's happening in the courts? I suppose John Roberts, right?, got sworn in while I was in the gulf coast?

I should think that the hottest court case will be Saddam Hussian's trial starting next week. Also Harriet Miers nomination. That one seems like a big mistake on Bush's party - even many conservatives are against her. Unfortunately, some are against her for the wrong reasons - that she's not enough of a right-wing idealogue.

What's happeneing w/ Saddam trial? I saw in my local paper that many people living in the US now who came from Iraq & surrounding area want to see Saddam cease to exist.
