Am I the only one that thinks this guy is over rated? I just don't get it. though he was great in O Brother, Where Art Thou?, other than that I don't see what the big hype on this guy is all about.

Once again I have to agree with your astute observations, LightHeart! I don't get the guy either, but like you, I really enjoyed his performance in O Brother Where Art Thou? I loved John Turturro too, but I mostly like him anyway.

To me Clooney is just an average looking Irish guy. Not bad, but not worth all the fuss, and only competent as an actor, nothing more.

But I'm Irish and surrounded by handsome Irish men, so maybe I'm desensitized, who knows!! :D

I suspect this is a poll rated by men. As a man I can see it. He is a perpetual bachelor and has been able to have his cake and eat it too all his life. He has lived a fun and exciting life, with all the perks of celebrity.

He lives the life most men wish they could have led, if given the opportunity.
