Pit Bull Ban Punishes Dogs for Bad Owners

The local city council "banned the breed & not the deed "- the deed done by the pit bull & never touched the mean-spirited & nasty owners who are guilty of making animals mean!
These nasty individuals could turn a toy poodle mean through constant abuse & neglect!
And when the silly un-caring council banned the breed, the nasty owners dumped these poor animals out in the county, to certain death.
Certain painful & slow death.
A representative of PETA actually wrote a "letter to the editor" of our local newspaper commending this decision!
I USED to be a card-carrying member of PETA up until this!
After the letter appeared in our paper, I called the head office for PETA to ask them to stay out of my town & to denounce my long membership.
Do you know what this person said to me?
" If some dogs die it will serve the purpose of what we try to do ... no breeding."
I told her that she sounded exactly like Proctor & Gamble & companies like them whp test on animals!:lol:
