Supplements for milk production

Anyone know what lactating women can tgake to increase milk production? My doctor said alphalpha but it did not help. A lactation consultant said Blessed Thistle and Fenugreek but that does not seem to help either. Maybe there is nothing for me but I am willing to try any other suggestions if anyone has anything that worked for her!!

I never took any sort of supplements because I was afraid it might mess with the milk I was producing. I just made sure to get enough calories in during the day, and that worked through two kids.
