Unlocking Autism is working hard to find families with autistic members that were displaced due to Hurricane Katrina. They can help them immediately now because of incredibly generous donations, but they need your help to locate them. If you are, or know of, a family with an autistic member who was affected by Hurricane Katrina, please contact: Shelley Hendrix P-resident, Unlocking Autism at www.unlockingautism (http://www.unlockingautism.org).org 866-366-3361
www.autisminfo.com (http://www.autisminfo.com) is also listed volunteered housing.
Also, Camp Yocona, Toccopola, MS, has agreed to provide shelter for families with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorders.
