Type of Housing Offered: one bedroom w/queen bed & sofa bed in living room
Help with transportation getting there? Yes we will definately pick family up at border in Sarnia, Windsor or Niagara Falls and if need be, we will assist w/organizing transportation to make to the border.
Number of Adults you can house? We can house anywhere from 1 to 3 people, whether that is 1, 2 or 3 adults, 2 adults and 1 child, 2 adults/1 child/1 infant, 1 adult and 2 children, or an adult couple and a single person - whomever can be helped.
Number of Children you can house? see above
Number/Type of Pets you can house? none really as existing pets do not get along well w/others
Time Offered: as much time as needed to get back on your feet
Help Finding jobs? would have to have a work visa or apropriate gov't legalities taken care of due to refugee status
Help with clothing? Child care?: will help w/childcare and clothing
Who currently is in the home? Our home is currently split into 2 apartments - my sister, her fiance & myself live downstairs, but my mother lives upstairs and that is where the room would be available.
Are you willing to have a background check done on you? Yes, absolutely.
Are there any pets currently in the home? Yes. there is a siamese cat upstairs and a dog downstairs - both are very friendly w/people, just not w/animals they do not know.
We have room for a family of 2 or 3 people or even a single person. We live in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. We can definately come & pick you up at the border in either Sarnia, Windsor or Niagara Falls Ontario. If you need further assistance getting to the border from where you currently are, we can help with that as well.
You are required to provide nothing other than your person and we will help take care of the rest.
