This story leaves so many questions. I wonder why when he contacted his mother in 97, he was to scared to let her know where is was.. He would have been 27 by then. I wonder too if he isn't the one that left the photos on his mom's doorstep, as a way of reaching out and and asking to be found. I hope there will be a follow up to this story.

Johnny should be 36 years old by now. I wonder what has become of him. If he contacted his mother in 1997 and that has now been made public, then the syndicate or group who abducted Johnny must be putting a tighter leash on him.

Why would Johnny leave a photo of his abduction on his mother's doorstep? It would only break her heart to see that, don't you think?

I wonder how she's certain that it was him who contacted her. On the other hand, why would anyone pose as him?

Unless it's his abductor now wanting to get caught. Some of these freaks, like BTK, want the notoriety. And, we just had this nutter Karr splattered across the news with his big "confession".

I agree with you Beatrix, this has to be an unfathomable heart breaker his mother!!
