How could this happen?

How did an experienced pilot end up on a runway too short to accommodate his commercial jet? That's one of the questions federal investigators are trying to answer as they dig into the data on Comair Flight 5191. The plane crashed Sunday morning about a half mile past the end of a runway at the Lexington, Kentucky, airport, killing 49 of the 50 people onboard.

It's pretty scary, isn't it? I'm interested to see the final conclusions myself.

I used to love to fly, but it's become a total nightmare for me now. I guess I'm not alone in feeling this way either.

Which is not to say that I wouldn't jump on the next flight out to certain destinations, given the opportunity!! I'm not a total chicken! :D

I would never even want a pilot's license today. Many things about flying are just too darn scary.
