I refuse to believe that I'm the only one hear who catches Jon Stewart's Daily Show on Comedy Central. That guy is hilarious (in my opinion), and every now and then he does have a good guest :) I also have his "America the Book," which is pretty good too.

ILOVE him!
I don't know on which channel you catch the "Daily Show", bot on Comedy Central TV he's followed by the "Colbert Report" & they play off of each other!
Jon is very funny & at the same time intelligent & poignant .
I also agree that he has some incredible guests!

I usually catch the "Colbert Report" after the Daily Show too! Didn't Stephen Colbert actually used to be on the "Daily Show" as a correspondent?

I believe that he was, now that you mention it.

I love jon Stewart, I think he is the only one asking the questions we are all thinking. Sadly they think its in fun but many a truth is said in jest.

Did y'all hear that with the last presidential election, the majority of people in their 20s got their news from The Daily Show? Hoping that they knew that they were kidding with some of that stuff....

"i never actually commented on the size of star jones, however i had mentioned she's an extremely self centered bitch that lives three feet up her own ass - i never said anything about the size of the ass in which she lived"

pinkribbon, I read the same thing! For a while there while my husband was serving in Iraq I couldn't stand to watch the regular news because the images freaked me out so badly. So in all honesty, The Daily Show was truly how I got my dose of news for a few months!

The Daily Show is excellent, and Jon Stewart is such a brilliant man. Sometimes I think he's just a bag of goof, but when he brings in guests and they get more serious than usual, he shows a side of him that's politically critical and brilliant. He should run for president, really. :p
