When I was searching for the King family,I spoke to an evacuee in LA.She is currently at a hotel that is housing the victims. She informed me that a lot of places were have the evacuees put their names on slips of paper in a box and that every couple of hours,they were drawing around 10 names from the box and allowing them to come to the head of the crowd and use the computers etc...In groups of thousands of people,that would explain how some never got a turn to get info out to family.
