It looks like a good cable television show, with a good concept. I have to say that I find their casting choices to be interesting! I have to wonder how long they can sustain the "fake psychic" angle, though. Any opinions?

I've been waiting for that one, and I did manage to catch it. I think I'm going to enjoy the interpersonal relationship twists a lot - but the fake psychic thing is going to grow old if they keep playing it the way they did in the series premiere. They've done a good job of setting up the personal relationships - I'd watch again just to see what happens between him and his dad.

It's hard to maintain a "fake" anything for very long. Look at the series Remington Steele--great show, but it lost a little momentum after Mildred learned that the boss was a fake. Then again, Steele grew into his role of detective. Maybe after a while the writers can take the tack that his photographic memory enhances psychic powers that are already there--or vice versa.

What will grow old is his 'fake visions' - they're almost slapstick. I've gotta admit, one of the things that I've really enjoyed are the ads for the various shows that have the main characters talking to each other. "So you just touch someone and get visions about them? That's so not fair."
