I am coordinating with a woman in Houston to connect the victims there to people who have generously offered to open their homes here in the NYC Metro Area. We need a few things to make this happen.
1. If you have space/resources to house victims, please provide me with your location (neighborhood in NYC or town in the metro area), how many beds, rooms & dedicated bathrooms (if applicable) you can donate. Also HOW LONG these resources are available for free.
2. Here in NYC we need drivers to get victims from a central location (likely Port Authority) to their destinations - homes/apartments people are donating. Let me know if you are interested in helping this project to transport people (and have a valid, clean drivers liscense and car)
