An oldie but a goodie... Wheel of Fortune has been around forever. I havent watched it in years (is it still going?) but I have the board game too!

Its definitely THE classic TV game show in my opinion.

oh yes it's still on :) me and my DH watch it almost every night while we eat our dinner. My DH is GREAT at solving the puzzles. I wish he'd go on the show. We've tried a few times but nothing yet....

Great show :D
I think I should go on it.. I always get them right. However as they say, its always harder when you are there yourself..

I wonder how many people apply to go on the show and how do they choose them?

I would love to know how they choose people too. I bet it's probably just a random lottery or something. I would love to go on the show too but I'd probably freeze up or something.

Yes, I agree it is an oldie, but goodie. I think it's still on, but I never get the chance to watch it. I don't watch tv until 7:00-8:00 at night if at all. I should catch it again one of these days, if I get my work done lol.

Has anyone noticed how the co-hosts clothing on this show gets raunchier and raunchier every year?
I swear, not long ago I saw her wearing a dress that showed half her breast.. surely that's illegal for prime time TV! ?

Ya I love how Vanna is wearing leather pants when ever they do a segmen with her outside. YUCK!!!

She's a very pretty lady but she needs to cover up a little more. Just my $.02

Yep, Wheel of Fortune is fun. I used to have the boardgame, and I also have it for Playstation. Jeopardy is fun too!

I used to have the board game for Wheel Of Fortune. I watched that show almost religiously. My grandmother still watches the show til this day. If I call at the time it's on she make me get off the phone because she can NEVER be disturbed during it.

I watch Wheel of Fortune every now and then. I really like puzzle solving so it is a lot of fun for me.

Makes me sad that Canadians can't audition to be on the show. :crying:

I also have the game for playstation. I like it but I find it takes soooo long to load. I have an old PS1 version though....I wonder if there is a newer version that does not take as long?!

I used to like it a lot more when they got to use their money won at the end of each round to pick prizes. Do you remember that? I used to think it was really fun to see what they would pick.

Wheel goes back a ways. Chuck Woolery hosted it back in the 70s before Sajak.

I have to admit, a lot of people liked seeing Vanna White turning her T's and A's. :disbelief

Wheel of fortune was a popular game show when I was still a kid and I loved watching the show. I remember watching it and shouting out the letters and when I get the word right I just couldn't be prouder of myself. Well, I was still a kid then.

I also love solving puzzles ever since I was a kid, and when I started watching this show I fell in love with it the first time. Well, at my previous post I said I would want to join this if it still exists. Because I wasn't able to watch tv that much this past few days I might have thought it's extinct. It's really and oldie, definitely a goodie! It stirs up my passion for words.
