Contributions of items for senior citizens

I've seen the message about radio stations collecting items for kids - what about items for seniors? Things like adult diapers, etc. Are there any local senior services that are looking for donations?

My company has various items coming in from all over to Houston which we'll be delivering to the displaced families at the Astrodome. My email blast to the entertainment community was the following flyer: My artist is personally going to purchase some additional items such as adult diapers, and underwear for all ages - so we are trying to do what we can. Once we go over to the Astrodome we'll have a better idea of the age-groups being housed there at the dome.

We are doing a clothing drive for the families of New Orleans. They are sending over 25,000 of the people here to Houston to put them in the Astrodome.

We are asking that you donate any daily essential items to the displaced families. (Examples are listed below)

Kids Clothing & Shoes
Women?s Clothing & Shoes
Men?s Clothing & Shoes
Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
Soap, washcloths, towels, socks
Brushes, Combs, Barrettes
Blankets, Pillows, Sheets
Books, Board Games, Coloring Books, Crayons

All items can be delivered Monday-Friday (10am-11am) or mailed to us at:
Bombshell / Hard Lyfe Records
10811 Bissonnet
Suite A-5
Houston, TX 77099
Phone: 832-351-3500 or nikki@hardlyferecords.com

DJ Chill (Damage Control Radio) and Bombshell/Hard Lyfe will be delivering the donated items to the Astrodome as it comes in.

We WILL NOT accept money or any gift cards, only daily essential items.
