Ebay has some very dedicated animal rescue posters.
This one has begun a list of doggies with special needs that are seeking loving and furever homes all across the country.
Needs range from being an only dog to paralysis care.

Let's see what kind of interest we can drum up for the special pooches.

Tootsie, Tory and Dr Suess are real cuties, Heck I saw a dozen I would love to take in.
Funny growing up we weren't allowed to have pets except for the occasional gold fish that ended up getting flushed. Now my home has become a safe haven for abused cats, we do have a pup that I got hubby for Christmas a few years back. My husband says now that all but one of our children are grown and gone, I have become a mother to all the animals in the neighborhood.

I know LightHeart, it breaks my heart that I can't save them all.
I've had to get it through my head that I am making a difference for the ones that I DO have.

Oh Please!! I love all of these babies, every last one of them does me in! I truly understand how people can go into the pet shelter business!
I think the solution is that we all need to get rich so we can contribute to the care of these sweet and innocent creatures!
On the other hand, don't get me started about the "animal rights" people, because I don't like most of them in the least! We have to get real about our animal friends and stop supporting fascistic nutters who do more harm than good.
Another rant for another day!
Thanks for posting here, IA and Lightheart! It's good to see some activity in Let's Roll!

I always said that if I won the lottery I'd buy acres and acres in the country and take 'em all in.
:)
But there are threads on that board that I honestly cannot read.

I think it's the feeling of helplessness that makes it so difficult to read about the plight of animals. What breaks my heart is the look of complete innocence and trust in their eyes, and knowing that I can't really fulfill it! It's really too heartbreaking for words!
Why do these animal rights nutters make it so hard for people to adopt animals? Despite all their heroics, I know more good and wonderful people who were rejected for adoption on some idiotic grounds, and we still have animals being abused and neglected by creeps.
I really don't get it! :help:

I don't get it either Nico, and it's a subject that breaks my heart. I have never experienced the kind of unconditional love from any other creature that I have from my dogs.

Well pooh, the thread is gone. Some malcontent probably reported it for contact information being posted.
I'm going to have to go find out what happened.

Oh thank you IA that was kind of you to crosspost my effort. I had gotten all the way through Iowa in the alphabet when this person with personal issues against me and the dogs I post reported that post, along with 8-10 others, and had it removed. This person basically said that I was wasting time trying to get blind, deaf and disabled dogs a home when there were so many "normal" dogs that needed homes. :disbelief: Don't get me started. Anyways, I will probably do the list again except this time I'll just post a link to the info instead of listing the contact info, not sure. All dogs need love not just the "normal" ones. :shake:

Welcome to Livewire shaeryn! And you are more than right all furbabies need love. The not "normal" ones is what makes them so extra special.

Welcome to LiveWire too, I'm SO glad you came on over!
Feel free to post it here if you'd like. Or just come back with the link when you get it posted else where.
I hope you find other things you like here, there's certainly a wide variety.

Thank you shaeryn for being the person you are. Your site really touched my heart, I find it hard to believe that people that have pets throw their hands up and say I don't know what they need, OMG, their eyes tell it all. I better not get started, Just wanted to say thank you.!!!!
