So does anyone have any New Year resolutions this year? I am hoping to quit smoking. This is going to be a hard one for me but I am a pretty determined person so hopefully I will be able to. So what are yours?

I'd like to lose some extra weight. I've decided it's not so much about WHAT I eat, but how much. Portion control is my biggest problem.

I'd also like to try and cut down on silly spending. I don't overdo a lot, but I would really like to save some more cash so we'll have some more put away for a downpayment on a home.

Well I don't need to lose weight, and I don't want to quit smoking, so I think this year I want to really work on getting to know my Spiritual Side better,

"The great awareness comes slowly, piece by piece. The path of spiritual growth is a path of lifelong learning. The experience of spiritual power is basically a joyful one". Scott Peck

I don't have a list yet. I'll probably make a formal one later...just for fun. Here are some that I might include

1.) I have to stop being too lazy. I need to work at least 50 hours a week.

2.) Stop spending too much on useless things.

3.) I need to lose 20 pounds. Really.

4.) Stop worrying about things I can't control.

5.) Reconcile with my ex. :sad4:

I don't usually make a formal list, but I do think on things I want to do differently and/or better.

We need to pay off some old business debt and we have plans to sell some assets to do that.

Also, I want to stick better with Weight Watchers. I've been on it for awhile but I have been out of town for work and it's so hard to do it right on the road. Next week is my last week to travel for awhile so I'm getting back in the saddle.

Also I want to travel more. Life is too short not to see the world, you know?
